Besides being in contact with Gulf leaders, PM Modi informed the Parliament that India is also in contact with Iran, Israel, and the United States for de-escalation and opening up of Strait of Hormuz.

He highlighted that if the war situation lasts long, it could have serious problems for the economy. To meet the demands of this ever-changing conflict, the government is working with a strategy for every impact—short-term, medium-term, and long-term, he affirmed.
