In its weekly update, DHS called Kirk a martyr for free speech, Christian faith, and patriotism, and vowed to intensify deportation efforts. Secretary Kristi Noem and Deputy Assistant Secretary Micah Bock tied the tragedy to border security, mass deportations, and national sovereignty.
