The summit also marked a landmark beginning for BRICS Entrepreneurs Alliance (BEA) India’s mission to unify MSMEs on a global platform.
A key outcome of the summit was the signing of the “Hyderabad Declaration,” outlining a strategic roadmap for MSME growth and enhanced global collaboration within the BRICS+ framework.

The event was attended by Union MSME minister Jitan Ram Manjhi. On the occasion Manjhi highlighted that BEA India is an important forum for promoting entrepreneurship and MSME development in India. He noted that the MSME sector has introduced several schemes, and it is essential for entrepreneurs and MSMEs to take full advantage of these initiatives to grow their businesses. He also emphasized that the Ministry of MSME is fully supporting the efforts of BEA India.

Dr. Bhaskar Jyoti Sonowal has been elected as the President of the BRICS Entrepreneurs Alliance (BEA) Global Forum for the term 2026–27. This marks a major milestone for India’s growing leadership role within the BRICS+ economic ecosystem.
Dr. Sonowal currently serves as the CEO and Executive Director of BEA India. India plans to host the BEA Global Summit in November 2026. The summit is expected to attract a diverse and influential international audience, opening new pathways for global business engagement and partnerships.
According to Dr Sonowal, “This is a defining moment for entrepreneurship in India. I am deeply honored to take on this responsibility at a time when Indian enterprises, especially MSMEs, are poised to play a transformative role in the global economy. According to Boris Tarasov, Secretary General of BEA Global, “India today stands at the forefront of shaping a more inclusive and balanced global trade framework.
