Air Serbia will resume direct daily flights between Munich and Belgrade on May 22 after an 18-year break. The 90-minute service will use Embraer E195 aircraft configured with 118 seats across business and economy cabins.
The relaunch coincides with infrastructure upgrades at Munich Airport (MUC), where the airline will operate from the newly opened Terminal 1 pier. At Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport, passengers will have additional transfer options to international destinations.
“With the direct connection between Munich and Belgrade, we are linking Serbia with Bavaria, one of Europe’s most dynamic regions. The route offers real added value for both business travelers and tourists in both directions,” said Jiří Marek, chief executive of Air Serbia.
The schedule features morning departures from Munich at 9:30 a.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, while evening flights depart at 8:15 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flights from Belgrade are scheduled for 7:10 a.m. on the morning rotation days and 5:55 p.m. on the evening rotation days, providing flexibility for low-cost and business travellers.

The expansion reflects a growing demand for point-to-point European aviation links and enhanced MRO support for the regional E-Jet fleet.
